Terms of service

Shopping with HELLOVALE

These terms explain the agreement between you and HELLOVALE LTD when you use our website or buy from our store. “We”, “us” and “HELLOVALE” refer to the company identified below. By using the store or submitting an order, you agree to these terms and the linked policies. Your mandatory consumer rights always remain in place.

Placing an order

You must be legally able to enter a binding purchase agreement where you live. Supply accurate, current contact, billing, delivery and payment information, and check your selections before submitting the order. Knife-set purchases are for adults aged 18 and over and must satisfy applicable age-verification and delivery rules.

An order confirmation records receipt of your request; it does not necessarily mean acceptance. Unless the law says otherwise, the sale contract is formed when we confirm dispatch. If an item is unavailable, a clear price or description error occurs, or fraud or misuse is reasonably suspected, we may decline or cancel the affected order for a legitimate reason. Any amount already paid for an item we cancel will be refunded.

The pieces we sell

We aim to show materials, dimensions, colors and details accurately. Natural grain, resin movement, texture and hand-finished details can differ between pieces; lighting and screen settings can also affect photographs. Normal handmade variation is part of the design, without excluding remedies for defective or misdescribed goods.

Unless a product description expressly says otherwise, the walnut-and-resin boards are collectible decorative display artwork, not food-preparation cutting boards, toys or children’s products. Follow the care and safety information supplied with every item. Knife holders and knife-set options have the contents stated on their own product page.

Prices and checkout

Availability and advertised prices may change for future orders. The currency displayed on the website and the final checkout total identify what is charged. Applicable discounts, shipping charges and taxes appear at checkout where available; import costs are explained in our shipping policy. You authorise the selected payment provider to process the amount you agree to at checkout. A later change to pricing does not alter an accepted order retrospectively.

Delivery and returns

Our shipping policy explains processing, estimates, tracking, customs and delivery problems. Estimated dates are not guaranteed unless expressly agreed. Our return and refund policy sets out the 60-day money-back guarantee, return conditions and costs, cancellations, exchanges and statutory withdrawal rights. Both policies form part of these terms.

Using the website responsibly

Do not use the store for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity, submit misleading information, infringe another person’s rights, spread malicious software, interfere with the service, scrape it unlawfully or attempt access you are not authorised to have. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, the store or others, including after a material breach.

Our content and your submissions

Our branding and the text, artwork, images, designs and other site content are owned by or licensed to HELLOVALE LTD unless a different owner is identified. You may view them for personal, non-commercial purposes. Commercial copying, redistribution, alteration or resale requires written permission.

When you send a review, photograph or other contribution, you confirm that you are entitled to supply it and that it is lawful and not misleading. You keep ownership but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to reproduce and display it in operating and promoting HELLOVALE, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

Shopify, other services and privacy

Shopify hosts our store. Other tools and external sites may have their own terms and privacy notices. We do not control unrelated websites, but using third-party services does not remove our responsibility for the products we sell. Our privacy policy explains how personal information is handled.

Liability and interruptions

We never exclude liability where that would be unlawful, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or mandatory consumer rights. Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or business losses from a consumer purchase. Maintenance, security work or events beyond reasonable control may occasionally interrupt the website.

To the extent permitted by law, you remain responsible for losses reasonably arising from your unlawful use of the site, infringement of others’ rights or material breach of these terms. This does not impose obligations that applicable consumer law forbids.

If part of the agreement changes

If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining lawful provisions continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. Terms intended to continue after access ends still apply. We may update these terms for future use and orders, showing the new effective date; an update does not retrospectively reduce rights attached to an accepted order.

Law, disputes and contact

The law of England and Wales governs these terms and our sales, without depriving you of mandatory protection in your country of residence. Disputes may be heard by courts with jurisdiction under applicable consumer law. Questions can be sent to support@hellovale.com.
