The favourite-books shelf
Use it as a decorative end to a short, stable row of books. Keep the heavier volumes supported by the shelf or other suitable book supports.

Something is stirring on your bookshelf
Every shelf says something about the person who fills it. Give yours a detail that feels like it escaped from one of the stories. The curled shape catches the eye from across the room, while the smaller suckers and turns reward a closer look. It adds a lively accent without asking you to rebuild the whole bookshelf around it.
Place it at the end of a small row of favourite novels, leave it beside a single displayed book or let it stand among other curiosities. The green makes an especially good contrast with burgundy, black and natural wood. It is a piece for readers who like their surroundings to have the same imagination as the books they choose.
Find its place
Use it as a decorative end to a short, stable row of books. Keep the heavier volumes supported by the shelf or other suitable book supports.
Stand it beside your current read or journal. One expressive object can turn a practical workspace into a corner that feels personal.
Mix it with your collected objects and illustrated books. The curling form brings movement to an arrangement of straight book spines.
The making, explained
The method is part of the piece. This is a 3D-printed object, not a hand-carved wood or metal sculpture. Fine layer lines and small surface differences reflect how the print is built.
A digital model defines the tentacle curves and repeated sucker details.
The printer builds the form in thin layers of PLA filament.
The finished print is checked and prepared for packing. Its visible layers remain part of the surface.
Details that matter
The tall tentacle shape gives a simple shelf arrangement an unexpected edge. The studio photograph shows the piece on its own so you can see its silhouette and base before finding the right place for it.

Dust with a soft brush or dry cloth. Keep it away from radiators, hot surfaces and strong direct sunlight; PLA can be affected by heat. Place it on a flat, stable surface. Use additional support for heavy books rather than relying on a decorative piece to hold a large leaning stack. Handle the slimmer curves carefully when moving it.

Give something with character
There is the reader who finishes a novel in a weekend, the friend who keeps a growing collection of fantasy worlds and the one who arranges their shelves like a small exhibition. This piece gives them another way to make that corner their own. Pair it with a book you think they will love, or let the tentacle be the start of a new shelf arrangement. It is an imaginative gift without needing to know every title they already own.
Before you choose
It is made by 3D-printing PLA. It is not hand-carved, cast metal or natural wood.
One green tentacle bookend / shelf accent. Books and other props in the photographs are not included.
Yes. Fine layer lines are a normal characteristic of this printing method.
Use it as a decorative bookend for a small, stable arrangement. Heavy or leaning stacks need appropriate additional support.
Keep it away from direct heat and hot surfaces. A normal indoor shelf away from strong sunlight is a better position.
Use a soft brush or cloth to remove dust. Avoid heat, abrasive cleaning and soaking.
