Small-batch casting gives the concrete its individual surface. Tiny pores and subtle shifts in tone can appear from one pour to the next. They belong to the material rather than a printed decorative finish.

The cement mixture is prepared for a small batch.
Cast & cure
The mixture sets in a skull mould, preserving the face and hand gesture as a single form.
Finish
The casting is released, checked and sealed. Small surface variations remain part of its character.

Keep the plant happy and the surface protected
Treat the skull as a decorative outer pot. Use a suitable removable liner or nursery pot and water the plant outside the planter where possible. Do not leave water standing inside it. Choose a small plant to fit the opening, protect the furniture below and wipe the exterior gently with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and prolonged soaking.

Speak No Evil covers the mouth, Hear No Evil holds the ears and See No Evil covers the eyes.
Can I plant directly into it?
We recommend treating it as a decorative outer pot with an appropriate removable liner. Avoid standing water and protect the surface below.
Why are there small pores in the surface?
Concrete casting can leave small bubbles and differences in tone. These are normal characteristics of small-batch cast pieces.
Can it be used indoors?
Yes. A desk, shelf or windowsill works well. Choose the light for your plant and use a protective mat beneath the planter.
